THE BRIEF
Leveraging on Midea’s sponsorship with FINA 2017, we were asked to create a social campaign across the APAC region. The aim is to create brand exposure and brand relevance during the FINA event.
THE IDEA
We took inspiration from the similarities that both MIDEA and FINA share. And in both home and at the arena, we recognized the importance of support. We want to evoke imagination – celebrating tiny moments and the achievements of the athletes.
Our aim is to evoke a sense of inclusiveness with every piece of imagination and has surprising details.
THE EXECUTION
We have developed a set of 12 key visuals used across all participating APAC countries.
We aim to uplift the mood and imagination by recreating the scenes at FINA using figurines and Midea’s featured home appliances. The audience will be able to see themselves in the different scenarios, be a part of the celebration whether they are at home or at Budapest.
Other than the key visuals, we have also created two 30-second videos for the advertisement spots at FINA.
